Job description

The School of Visual + Performing Arts, Department of Architectural + Design Studies is currently seeking individuals to teach undergraduate and graduate Architectural Studies and Interior Architecture courses for the 2026-2027 academic calendar year.
We are seeking multiple adjunct instructors for foundational architectural studies courses and major-specific courses for the following Undergraduate Architectural Studies and Interior Architecture Majors:
  • Architectural Sketching (4-hour studio)
  • Building Information Modeling (REVIT and RHINO) (4-hour studio)
  • Interior Hospitality Studio (6-hour studio)

Graduate Interior Architecture:
  • Graduate Design Theory

All courses are in-person unless noted otherwise. Each lecture course meets as indicated above.
In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $4,700-$4,800 per course. This range reflects base pay only and does not include other potential compensation or benefits.
Instructors are expected to:
  • Deliver the course(s) in person in their assigned time blocks through the entire semester.
  • Abide by Endicott's academic policies as described in the College's Faculty Handbook.
  • Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course.
  • Use Canvas as the course's learning management system.
  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
  • Communicate with the dean or other administrators if issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes.
  • Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter, if requested.
  • Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
  • Use Endicott email when communicating with students outside of class.

Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree is required, and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
