Job description

Wage: $197.28 per day

Position: Instructor, Academic Substitute

Schedule -ย as needed, Monday - Friday

Whatย you will be doing:ย You'll be responsible forย the academic instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic goals.ย 

Essential functions:ย 

  1. Provide students with basic direction, instruction and assistance in designated areas(s) of instruction
  2. Administer and correct rests and maintain progress and attendance reports.ย 
  3. Assist in developing community linkages and volunteers for the department.ย 
  4. Ensure accountability is taken each period and report student absences promptly.ย 
  5. Participate in student assessment panels, and perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.ย 

Education and Experience Requirements:ย 

  • High school diploma or equivalentย 
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency also required.ย
