As a part of the Talent Learning team you will create and deliver high-quality learning experiences that build organizational capabilities across Abarca. This role develops training content, facilitates learning programs, and supports learners across technical systems, leadership development, professional skills, or learning innovation based on assigned Talent Learning focus areas. In this role you will leverage expertise in facilitation, instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies to deliver leadership development programs, professional skills training, onboarding experiences, business enablement initiatives, and technical learning solutions.   • Facilitate engaging virtual, in-person, and hybrid learning experiences for employees, leaders, teams, and external partners while creating an inclusive and impactful learning environment.
  • Design and develop learning solutions including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, eLearning modules, job aids, SOPs, performance support resources, and blended learning experiences.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging, learner-centered experiences that drive knowledge transfer and behavior change.
  • Partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify capability gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and ongoing learner support to promote successful application of learning on the job.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, adoption metrics, and business impact indicators to continuously improve solutions
  • Partner with Talent Learning team members across focus areas to leverage expertise, perform quality reviews, and support enterprise-wide learning initiatives.
  • Support LMS administration, learner enrollment, reporting, troubleshooting, and learning program coordination.
  • Ensure learning materials are accurate, current, branded appropriately, and aligned to organizational standards.
  • Stay current on facilitation practices, leadership development trends, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
  • Manage logistics including participant enrollment, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and follow-up communications.
  • Support learning enablement operations by monitoring shared mailboxes, triaging ticket intake, and coordinating quarterly meeting logistics.
  • Support delivery of leadership programs for emerging leaders, new managers, and experienced leaders.
  • Deliver workshops focused on communication, influence, collaboration, emotional intelligence, feedback, resilience, critical thinking, project management, and professional effectiveness.
  • Design and facilitate engaging team-building activities, team effectiveness workshops, and collaborative learning experiences that strengthen communication, trust, engagement, and performance.
  • Own mandatory compliance training (code of conduct, anti-harassment, security awareness), ensure 100% completion.
  • Administer leadership assessments (360 feedback, behavioral assessments), provide feedback reports, support development planning.
  • Facilitate calibration sessions, succession planning meetings, talent reviews as needed.
  • Manage external facilitators, coordinate program logistics, process invoices, ensure quality delivery
  • Coordinate with IT on integrations (HRIS data feeds, SSO, reporting), manage platform transitions and updates.
  • Create and deliver training on Darwin CRM, KnowBetter Portal, and related technical systems, including workflows, system navigation, and business rules.
  • Deliver technical system training for new Abarca employees as part of onboarding program.
  • Maintain technical SOPs, job aids, quick reference guides, KnowBetter resources, and system documentation.
  • Deliver Darwin training for external clients, support implementation projects, provide post-go-live assistance.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Communications, Instructional Design, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development, instructional design, facilitation, or a related field.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with a commitment to continuous learning, adaptability, feedback, and professional growth.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, learning assessment, and content development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and facilitate engaging learning experiences and materials for diverse audiences, including instructor-led, virtual, and digital learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model, including 2-3 on-site workdays per week at our San Juan, Puerto Rico office (Puerto Rico employees only).
  • This position may require availability for on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to promptly address emergent issues or provide necessary support as dictated by operational demands (if applicable).
