What hourly job pays the most?

Installer jobs typically pay hourly wages that vary based on experience, location, and specialization. Skilled installers, such as those working in electrical, HVAC, or specialized equipment installation, tend to earn higher hourly rates, often exceeding the average for general labor roles. Certifications and technical skills can also lead to higher pay in installation positions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Installer Hourly, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Installer Hourly, you generally need mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with tools relevant to the installation process, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with hand and power tools, safety equipment, and sometimes specific manufacturer certifications is typically required. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and reliability help set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer satisfaction, minimizing errors and maximizing productivity.

What jobs pay 700 a day?

Installer jobs, especially those involving specialized skills such as electrical, HVAC, or security system installation, can pay around $700 a day for experienced workers or those working overtime or on high-demand projects. High-paying installation roles often require certifications, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in challenging environments, with pay rates varying based on location, experience, and project complexity.

What is the difference between Installer Hourly vs Electrician?

AspectInstaller HourlyElectrician
CredentialsTypically requires a high school diploma or equivalent; some may need on-the-job trainingRequires a state license, apprenticeship, and often a journeyman or master electrician certification
Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, residential and commercial installationsResidential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems
Job DutiesInstalling equipment, fixtures, and systemsInstalling, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and systems

While both Installer Hourly and Electrician roles involve installation work, Electricians have specialized training, licensing, and handle more complex electrical systems. Installer Hourly workers typically focus on installation tasks without requiring extensive electrical certifications. Understanding these differences helps employers and job seekers find the right fit for their skills and career goals.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Installer jobs typically do not pay $4,000 a week without specialized skills or experience. High-paying roles that can reach this level often involve skilled trades, sales, or entrepreneurship, such as construction supervisors, real estate agents, or business owners, which may require experience, certifications, or licensing rather than a formal degree.

What are some common challenges faced by Installer Hourly employees, and how can they be managed effectively?

Installer Hourly employees often face challenges such as working in varying environments, managing tight schedules, and handling unexpected technical issues on-site. Adapting quickly to different customer locations and maintaining a high standard of quality under time constraints are key skills. Effective communication with team members and clients, along with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and safety procedures, can help manage these challenges successfully. Many companies provide on-the-job training and support to help installers stay updated with best practices and new technologies.

What does an Installer Hourly do?

An Installer Hourly is responsible for setting up, assembling, and installing products or equipment at customer sites or job locations. The 'hourly' part refers to being paid based on the number of hours worked rather than a fixed salary. Typical duties may include reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, ensuring installations meet safety standards, and sometimes interacting with customers to explain the installation process. The specific items installed can vary widely, from appliances and furniture to HVAC systems or windows. Installers must pay attention to detail, work efficiently, and follow company and safety guidelines.

Who pays 30 an hour without a degree?

Installer jobs often pay around $30 an hour without requiring a degree, especially for experienced workers installing HVAC systems, electrical wiring, or appliances. These roles typically value skills, certifications, and on-the-job training over formal education, and wages can vary based on location and experience.

Job description

The "Sweet Spot" Career: Stability of a Trade, Earning Potential of a Business Owner.

Are you a Maintenance Tech or Handyman who is tired of the "jack-of-all-trades" grind? Or perhaps you're a seasoned Installer looking for a company that actually rewards your speed and precision?

At Installation Pros, we donโ€™t just "hook up machines." We provide a white-glove experience for Southern Californiaโ€™s top retailers and builders. We are looking for that "Middle Ground" professional: someone with the common sense and hand-tool skills of a builder, but the customer-service polish of a pro.

Who You Are

We are looking for the "Maintenance Tech" personalityโ€”someone who understands how homes work and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, but also knows how to speak to a homeowner.

  • The Mechanic: You have strong hand-tool skills and "mechanical common sense." You don't just follow a manual; you understand the why behind the install.

  • The Professional: You are presentable, respectful, and treat every clientโ€™s home like itโ€™s your own.

  • The Communicator: You can explain a water shut-off or a gas connection to a customer clearly and calmly.

  • The Athlete: You can lift 75+ lbs and navigate tight spaces with ease.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Install everything from standard dishwashers and laundry units to high-end professional ranges and refrigerators.

  • Handle basic finish plumbing (faucets, toilets, valves) and electrical connections.

  • Ensure every unit is level, leak-free, and looking perfect before you leave.

  • Maintain a clean, organized truck and document your wins with photos and notes.

The Fine Print (Requirements)

  • Experience: Previous appliance install, maintenance, or construction experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Tools: Must have your own basic hand tools to complete the job.

  • Compliance: Must pass a Background Check and Drug Test.

  • Driving: Valid Driverโ€™s License with a clean driving record is mandatory.

  • Commitment: Full-time schedule (Mondayโ€“Friday) with some Saturdays required.

Why Join Us?

Most people leave this industry because they don't see a path forward. We do things differently. We invest in your training, but we reward your loyalty with a transition to Commission-Based Payโ€”meaning your earning potential is limited only by your own efficiency and skill.

  • Training Pay: $20.00 โ€“ $25.00 per hour.

  • Pro Installer Pay: Commission-based (Top performers earn $100k - $150k+).

  • The Gear: Company truck (daily pickup/drop-off), company shirts, and all necessary supplies.

  • The Stability: Consistent, year-round work with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Note on Probation: All new hires undergo a 90-day probationary period to ensure a perfect fit for our culture and quality standards.

Are You Ready to Level Up?

If you have the tools, the talent, and the drive to move from an hourly "job" to a high-earning "career," we want to talk to you.
