Emergency Vehicle Group, is a leading provider of high-quality ambulance and fire truck parts, sales, and service. We are looking for individuals with some mechanical aptitude and/or automotive experience, great attention to detail is a plus. This opportunity provides the candidates to grow as they increase in their mechanical skills and receive training and education in upfitting vehicles for emergency responders. Schedule

  • Full Time-Hourly
  • Schedule is Monday- Friday 7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.

Compensation

  • $20-$24 Depending on experience
  • Bonus potential after satisfactorily completing initial training period.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Removal of factory interior and exterior equipment and parts.
  • Installation of specialized emergency vehicle Lightbars, Emergency lighting, Push Bumpers, Sirens, Controllers, Speakers, Computers, Intercom Systems.
  • Attention to detail as it relates to job progress and tracking of hours.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools such as, screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
  • Capability to bend, twist, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources a plus.
  • Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment.
  • Fabrication and Welding Experience a Plus but not required. Experience with Mig, Tig welding and any welding certification as well as a background in metal fabrication.
  • Pre-Employment Background Check.
