We offer a wide variety of kitchen and laundry appliances and customizable solutions that appeal to custom home builders, kitchen designers, home remodelers, property managers, and homeowners.
Our showrooms display brands and styles, allowing customers to compare products, explore options, and make purchases. They are staffed with experienced inside sales professionals who use a consultative and relationship-building approach to selling appliances.
ADU is seeking a reliable and motivated full-time Appliance Install Assistant to support our installation team! This is a hands-on role where you will assist with delivering, handling, and installing luxury appliances in residential and commercial settings.
This position is based out of our Halethorpe, MD, Headquarters and supports projects across the Baltimore, VA, DC, and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, pays close attention to detail, and ensures every customer interaction reflects high standards of professionalism.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required with an acceptable driving record
  • DOT (or the ability to obtain one upon hire)
  • Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, consistent with applicable laws
  • Ability to safely perform and install high-end appliances in residential and commercial settings, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, and more.
  • From time to time, handle and transport large appliances safely and securely
  • Ability to lift and move heavy appliances up to 100 lbs independently
  • Push, pull, lift, and move loads up to 1000 pounds with assistance (using straps, dollies, and team support )
  • Load/unload appliances from trucks
  • Maintain a professional and clean work environment
  • Interact professionally with customers and team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Highschool Diploma

Physical Demands:
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, climbing, and crouching
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and maneuver large appliances safely

Work Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Overtime (OT) may be required based on the project demands and business needs
