Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Apprentice Electrician in Spartanburg, SC. The Apprentice Electrician will support the security installation team by constructing and installing mounting hardware and structural supports for security devices. The ideal candidate will be proficient with hand and power tools and have specific experience working with unistrut and custom bracket fabrication in a commercial setting.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $26 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Build and install custom brackets and drop-down supports for security device mounting.
  • Operate various hand and power tools to cut, drill, and assemble structural components.
  • Work with unistrut and related hardware to create secure mounting points for electrical and security equipment.
  • Assist the security installation team with site preparation and equipment positioning.
  • Measure and align mounting hardware precisely according to technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure project efficiency and safety.
  • Assist with the installation of conduit and pulling of low-voltage or electrical wiring when required.
  • Perform basic mechanical assembly tasks to support broader project goals.
  • Adhere to all job site safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an electrical apprentice or in a similar skilled trades role.
  • Hands-on experience with unistrut, threaded rods, and mounting hardware.
  • Proficiency in the safe operation of power tools, including drills, saws, and grinders.
