Lead Plumbing Installer
The Role
CJS Home Services is seeking a Lead Plumbing Installer to oversee residential plumbing installation projects, including sewer and drain repair services. This position provides leadership to the installation team, ensures high-quality workmanship, maintains safety standards, and delivers an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee residential plumbing installation and sewer/drain repair projects
  • Perform pre-job site measurements and ensure proper preparation for efficient installations
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and OSHA standards
  • Install, test, and verify equipment to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Train, mentor, and support apprentices and installation team members
  • Maintain certifications required to operate specialized and heavy equipment
  • Utilize knowledge of pipe bursting, sewer repairs, and open-trench plumbing techniques
  • Review statements of work and verify all necessary materials and equipment are available before each job
  • Document job progress, closeout packages, and required information within ServiceTitan
  • Maintain and oversee company equipment used by the installation team
  • Collect required job documentation and invoices upon project completion
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the crew and provide technical guidance as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate recommendations to leadership
  • Represent CJS Home Services professionally and deliver an outstanding customer experience
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of residential plumbing installation experience required
  • Experience leading crews or supervising installation projects preferred
  • Knowledge of sewer and drain repair, pipe bursting, and open-trench plumbing techniques preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects
