Job description

Champion has an opening for a Sunroom Installation Assistant. This position supports the lead installer in the construction of sunrooms including wall, windows and door installation, support structures, and roofs.

Job Responsibilities:

โ€ข Interacts with Champion customers in a professional manner
โ€ข Loads materials onto truck while lead installer unloads and assembles frames and assists in the unloading of truck
โ€ข Assists the lead installer in the installation of the job to ensure a Champion quality job is done in a timely and safe manner
โ€ข Learns aspects of lead installer's responsibilities
โ€ข Contributes to a positive and fair team environment
Job Requirements:

โ€ข High School diploma or GED equivalent
โ€ข Prior experience in construction and skilled labor involving carpentry, roofing, windows installation, use of a brake as well as hand tools such as an utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers
โ€ข Basic arithmetic abilities including using a tape measure
โ€ข Detail oriented
โ€ข Clean driving record, with the ability to regularly operate and manage the maintenance of a fleet vehicle
