As the Senior Installation Manager, you will be responsible forFull project installation activities, including staffing and planning of daily and weekly workload to meet project milestones for less complex and/or smaller projects.
Manages assignedsuperintendents,foremen,and crews. Responsible for allmechanical, electrical, andmechatronicspre-commissioningprojects, project progress,safetyand other required reporting on a daily,weeklyand monthly basis. This individual willbe responsible forthe full lifecycle of installation projects starting with pre-quoting activities through site visits and concept review meetingstodeterminecosts. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $106,500 - $156,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role
  • Assistwith equipment trial runs and ensure installations meet Dematic standards.

  • Provide training and technical support to subcontractors on equipment used for handling materials.

  • Identifyinstallation issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Prepare project quotes, including pricing reviews, scope of work, schedules, and equipment lists.

  • Select and coordinate subcontractors in conjunction with purchasing.

  • Attend weekly project review meetings and track financials.

  • Conduct site visits to support commissioning and implement safety and quality standards.

  • Complete equipment run-ins and report readiness for commissioning via formal documentation.

  • Manage ordering of consumables, supplies, rentals, and other resources for project execution.

  • Participate in post-project reviews to recommend design or process improvements.

What weare lookingfor:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate degree or 1-2 years vocational/technical training preferred. Specialized skill training or certification may berequired.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience resolving problems related to mechanical and electrical equipment.

  • Confirmed working experience with material handling equipment.

  • Service experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors is highly valued.

  • Willingness to travel on short notice and spend up to 50% of the time traveling.

  • Ability to be on call and travel as the need arises.

  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and complete trip reports according to Dematic procedures.

  • Proficient in the use of personal computers for word processing, databases, and communications.

  • Understanding ofpersonal computer hardware setup and software configuration.
