Installation Project Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation of systems, equipment, or structures for various industries, such as construction, IT, or manufacturing. They plan project timelines, manage resources, supervise installation teams, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. Their role also involves communicating with clients, resolving issues that arise during installations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential for this job.

What are some common challenges installation project managers face when coordinating multiple installation projects simultaneously?

Installation Project Managers often juggle several projects at once, which can present challenges such as managing overlapping timelines, ensuring resource availability, and keeping all stakeholders informed. We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an Installation Project Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing customized installation project plans for large-scale fleet customers, ensuring seamless coordination across resellers, vendors, and end users. If you love working at the intersection of technology and logistics - and thrive in a fast-moving environment where your work has direct customer impact - we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As an Installation Project Manager, your key area of responsibility will be owning end-to-end project delivery for enterprise fleet installation programs across the United States. You will evaluate customer requirements, build detailed and executable project plans, and serve as the primary point of coordination between resellers, vendors, and end users - ensuring every installation stays on track and meets agreed timelines. To be successful in this role you will be a resourceful problem-solver who is comfortable managing competing priorities in a high-volume, high-stakes environment. You will work closely with Sales, Reseller teams, and internal stakeholders across Product, Hardware Engineering, and Software Engineering - building the cross-functional relationships that keep projects moving and customers satisfied. How you'll make an impact:

     Support Geotab global strategic initiatives

Consistently demonstrate Geotab's Core Values in all daily work and interactions

Contribute to and maintain departmental Wiki documentation

What you'll bring to this role:

3-5 years of experience managing vendor relationships in a project context

Background in fleet, logistics,12-volt technical installation or similar industry experience is highly valued

Experience working within a technical or engineering organization, with knowledge of the high-technology industry

Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered

Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) highly valued

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and leading customer and vendor meetings

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make well-judged decisions under pressure

Technical proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and similar business software tools

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
