The duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager are far ranging and include all aspects of project control. The Project Manager will be involved in the assigned projects very early in the development process. The Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop a working plan for each project and will have an in-depth, thorough knowledge of the entire project, ranging from the plans and specifications to all financial aspects of the project.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Be on site at the project as necessary
  • Participate in obtaining subcontractor bids and assist in site walkthroughs
  • Take part in subcontractor buy-out, selection, qualification, and contract creation
  • Perform commercial/industrial construction cost estimation
  • Prepare, review, advance and monitor logs for tracking RFIs, submittals, contract documents, change orders and subcontractor's applications for payment
  • Follow-up and maintain and of all project related communications
  • Work with senior leadership and other stake holders to prepare, monitor and update the project
  • Review drawings in accordance with plans and specifications, scope, procedure, installation, site consideration and coordination between trades
  • Assist in the close-out process of the project, including the punch list, and submitting the close out package to the owner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years' experience in industrial/commercial building construction,
  • 4 year college degree in engineering, or construction management (or similar)
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
