Your Responsibilities as a Shower Glass Technician

As a Glass Doctor Shower Glass Technician, you are a vital part of our team. You will be the person that provides top-notch customer service while showing off your solid craftsman skills for shower glass installation services.


Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll do:

ยท Install shower glass products and other glass-related items.

ยท Take precise measurements to ensure materials meet specified dimensions.

ยท Evaluate the rest of the customerโ€™s home as part of the Glass Doctor service to determine other needs of the customer.

ยท Put customers at ease, effectively explaining what services they need to resolve their issues.

ยท Collect payment from customers for the work performed.

ยท Do repairs as necessary.

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for the Shower Glass Technician position at Glass Doctor:

ยท One year or more of glass installation experience, with glass cutting experience preferred.

ยท Knowledge and understanding of the basic tools of the trade.

ยท Must be insurable with a valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle.

ยท Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently โ€“ as you know, glass can be heavy, and our technicians often work solo.

ยท Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels.

ยท Comfortable with heights, ladders, and lifts.

ยท Comfortable using mobile technology and digital software โ€“ no pen and paper here.

ยท Verification of your prior job experience via reference checks.
