Seegars Fence Company of Spartanburg is seeking a smart, motivated, and dependable individual to lead a team in installing all types of fences for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. We provide training, support, and a positive, encouraging environment to help you become a safe and efficient fence installer.

Seegars of Spartanburg operates on a standard 4-day work week (4 ten-hour days) with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as business needs allow—offering excellent work-life balance while maximizing earning potential.

POSITION GOAL

Responsible for effectively leading or participating in a team of 2–3 members to install fences and barrier security products according to Seegars standards, while upholding the company mission of providing quality fence installations and building relationships that last a lifetime.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude daily
  • Demonstrate Seegars Fence Company Core Values
  • Lead a team in installing fences according to client specifications and project requirements
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, post hole diggers, levels, measuring devices, etc.)
  • Coach, train, and support crew members to ensure a safe and productive team environment
  • Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain First Aid, CPR, safety, forklift, Bobcat, and other required certifications
  • Listen to and understand customer needs; communicate clearly with customers and project management
  • Assist in maintaining the crew truck, tools, and equipment
  • Anticipate customer needs and job complications; proactively prevent or reduce issues
  • Install all types of fences offered by Seegars Fence Company
  • Accurately read a tape measure and level
  • Dress appropriately in Seegars uniform or T-shirt
  • Never smoke in front of customers, especially residential customers with children
  • Never use profanity in the presence of customers
  • Arrive on time and prepared to start work immediately
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen; annual updates required
