To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate strong tank knowledge and installation skills as well as proven customer service skills.
In this role, you will effectively serve as the public face of our company as you make in-home visits. Therefore, in addition to your technical expertise, you will also make use of your customer service talents. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with paid overtime. Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Installer, you will install tank and heating equipment and associated systems in residential homes and smaller commercial establishments. Since you will be the main point of contact between the company and our customers, you will also maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company and our brand.
Your specific duties include:
  • Assess equipment and needs of customer
  • Identify revenue generating opportunities and make recommendations to the customer
  • Install equipment as needed
  • Perform efficiency tests on all combustion related installations
  • Prepare accurate daily paperwork
  • Communicate with Dispatcher and Service departments
  • Utilize all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Exhibit courteous and helpful behavior towards customers and third parties
  • Collect fees when necessary (all methods of payment)

Requirements:
As a HVAC Installer, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.
Specific qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have oil and residential home heating systems knowledge
  • A valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
  • Willingness to expand your technical, repair and install knowledge
  • Ability to support our company brand as an advocate
  • Must posess RI & MA occupational licenses or ability to enroll in licensing program (*tuition reimbursement available, conditions apply*)
