Job description

RV Technician/Mobile Unit Technician

Department:Fabrication

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile medical clinics to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for our clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, combined with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

General 

As a Technician, you will: 

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, chassis, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance-oil changes, winterization, battery and filter service, and system inspections-to ensure all RV units are safe, functional, and travel-ready.
  • Install and repair accessories such as awnings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair generator systems, slide-outs, leveling systems, and other RV related components.
  • Assist with basic fabrication tasks, including cutting, assembling, and finishing materials such as plywood, laminates, plastics, and metals.
  • Use hand tools and power tools-including saws, drills, grinders, and sanders-to support repairs, installations, and custom modifications.
  • Potentially perform minor welding, metal finishing, and small custom builds as needed for repairs or accessory installation.
  • Assist with electrical repairs and installations, including wiring circuits, replacing fixtures and devices, and interpreting basic automotive/RV wiring schematics.
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure all systems function properly before client deliveries.
  • Ensure repair needs, estimates, and timelines are met.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience as an RV technician, automotive technician/mechanic, or similar experience in a related field preferred.
    • Strong understanding of AC&DC electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
  • Performance: Able and willing to provide world-class service to all stakeholders

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.
  • Strong awareness of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
  • RVTI, ASE, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Having personal tools is preferred and may enhance performance in this role.

  1. 80 PTO hours available after the first 60 days of service
