Residential HVAC Installation Specialist

Bay Breeze Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installation Specialist who knows how to complete quality installations and takes pride in getting the job done correctly.

We've served Davidsonville and communities throughout Anne Arundel County since 2001. As our business continues to expand, we're looking for another skilled HVAC professional who can bring solid field experience, dependable workmanship, and a customer-focused attitude to our installation team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Complete residential and light commercial HVAC replacement and installation projects
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and related HVAC equipment
  • Remove existing systems and prepare equipment areas for replacement installations
  • Install and connect refrigerant piping, drain lines, electrical components, and system accessories
  • Modify or install ductwork when required
  • Perform system start-ups and confirm proper equipment operation
  • Identify and correct installation-related problems before completing the job
  • Follow manufacturer specifications, local codes, safety requirements, and company installation standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
  • Protect customers' homes and property throughout each project
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding installation progress and system operation
  • Coordinate with other installers, helpers, service technicians, and office personnel
  • Assist with developing less-experienced installation team members when needed
  • Complete required job documentation accurately
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC replacement and installation procedures
  • Ability to complete installation tasks with limited supervision
  • Good mechanical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to workmanship and installation details
  • Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments
  • Ability to safely lift and move HVAC equipment and materials
  • Dependable, organized, and able to manage daily job responsibilities
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred
  • HVAC technical school certificate or diploma preferred
Compensation

$27.00-$37.00 per hour

Starting pay is based on previous HVAC installation experience, technical ability, certifications, and overall qualifications.
