Pump Installation Assistant – Afton, WY (Star Valley Area)
American Pump & Drilling (APD) is a steady-growing, family-oriented business specializing in delivering water solutions across Idaho and Wyoming. With over 45 years of history and multiple locations, we pride ourselves on quality work, a supportive team environment, and long-term growth opportunities.


This position is based out of our Afton, WY location, serving the greater Star Valley area.


What You’ll Do:

  • Assist Pump Technicians with installation and service projects
  • Load and unload trucks and equipment
  • Safely lift and move 50+ lbs throughout the day
  • Cross-train into other duties to support the team
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Mechanical ability and willingness to learn, grow and advance
  • Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work overtime when needed to meet deadlines
  • CDL preferred (not required)
  • MSHA certifications a plus
