Ruppert Landscape is a privately held, family/employee owned, commercial landscape maintenance and construction company based in Laytonsville, MD. With a multi-state presence and a small company feel, our mission is to provide opportunities for our people, take care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community.
 
Responsibilities:  
  • Perform any general enhancement and landscape duties on site as directed by onsite Field Managers 
  • The installation of landscape materials (trees, shrubs, perennials, landscape lighting, irrigation)
  • The company self performs many other stilled tasks including pavers, concrete flat work, retaining walls and other site amenities like outdoor kitchens, decks, fire and water features, and full landscape planting packages 
  • Operate various hand and power tools to perform functions such as grading, installation and mulching 
  • Utilize a variety of equipment, but not limited to bed edgers, sod cutters, rototillers, tractors, skid steers, excavators, and various walk behind equipment equipment such as skid steers and mini excavators to dig, grade, install site drainage, etc. 
  • Work safely in a team environment and follow applicable guidelines 
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance 
  • Perform other various duties assigned 
Qualifications:  
  • Must be energetic, hardworking, and dependable 
  • Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions 
  • Routinely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Prior landscape experience is preferred but not required 
  • Valid drivers license preferred
