Position: HVAC Install Technician
Location: Iowa City market, Quad Cities market, Des Moines market

Position Summary:
We're hiring a skilled HVAC Install Technician to take charge of residential and light commercial installations. This is a role for an experienced technician who thrives on delivering quality craftsmanship, and ensuring each install is completed to code, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the installation of HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, and ductwork.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to plan and execute installs.
  • Coordinate closely with dispatch, project managers, and clients to meet project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, local codes, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve on-site challenges with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized throughout each project.
  • Maintain accurate installation records and report project status.
  • Inventory and maintain tools, equipment, and company-provided materials.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of HVAC installation experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
  • Valid EPA certification (Type II or Universal)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
  • Strong communication, and customer service skills
  • Physically able to lift 75+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks on ladders or in tight spaces
