Neighbors Heating and Cooling - Ames, IA

Neighbors Heating and Cooling has been serving central Iowa since 1986 with a focus on craftsmanship, reliability, and honest service. We are looking for an experienced HVAC installer to join our team and help deliver the high-quality work our customers expect.

Pay: $25-$35/hour DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM until job completion (typically between 3:00-5:00 PM)

What You'll Do:

  • Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, etc.)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and technical manuals
  • Ensure all installations meet code requirements and company standards
  • Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and project managers
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • HVAC trade school or equivalent experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer satisfaction
