Job description

Job Summary:
Nash Heating and AC is BOOMING in Jefferson, LA, and we are very excited to be looking for several additional phenomenal staff members to join our install team.

We have an amazing group of kind, hardworking people here in the office, and we are thrilled to add another fun person to our group. We work together to provide fanatical customer service for our customers and they love Nash Heating and AC!

It is the responsibility of the helper to assist the lead in installing New HVAC Systems correctly & in a timely manner. The Install Helper Level I relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; and will work under immediate supervision. This position is safety-sensitive.

Job Duties:
  • Work safely following company policies.
  • Learn to install HVAC-related equipment according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Learn to wire both line and low voltage to heating and cooling equipment.
  • Learn to install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
  • Learn to install sheet metal and flex duct systems in residential and light commercial buildings.
  • Learn to properly connect gas lines to heating equipment.
  • Receive, verify and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.
  • Provide assistance to lead installer on the Jobsite.
  • Demonstrate and establish effective working relationships with co-workers and superiors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned company vehicle.
  • Any other assigned duties as directed by management.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • EPA Certification a plus.
  • HVAC experience is a plus but not required.

  • Able to work overtime, nights, and weekend hours.
  • Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.

Pay Scale:
  • Pay will be based on experience and performance.
