About the Role

Wallace P. Johnson Plumbing is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Journeyman Plumber to install plumbing systems on commercial and industrial projects across Southern California. You’ll work under a supervisor, take ownership of quality workmanship, and help guide apprentices while collaborating with other trades.

What You’ll Do (Commercial Construction)

  • Install all phases of commercial plumbing systems: underground, top-out, and finish
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, fixture submittals, and job drawings
  • Install plumbing in compliance with applicable codes and industry regulations
  • Coordinate professionally with field teams and other trades to keep production moving
  • Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to apprentices (as assigned)
  • Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and follow company safety procedures
Requirements:

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience (construction-focused)
  • Strong ability to read plans and execute scope accurately
