What is an Instagram Moderator job?

An Instagram Moderator is responsible for monitoring and managing content on Instagram to ensure it complies with platform guidelines and community standards. Their tasks typically include reviewing posts, comments, and messages to remove inappropriate or harmful content, addressing user reports, and enforcing policies. This role may be carried out by in-house employees or third-party contractors working for companies that manage social media moderation.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Instagram Moderator position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Instagram Moderator, you need a keen eye for detail, understanding of community guidelines, and the ability to quickly assess large volumes of content, usually supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
