Job description

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to build and grow a personality-led social media presence from the ground up.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role covering strategy, account setup, content planning, production management, publishing, audience growth, community management, and performance optimization across Instagram and TikTok. You will work closely with the founder to establish a distinctive online identity and develop it into a recognizable, highly engaging social presence.

Responsibilities
  • Build and launch the Instagram and TikTok profiles from zero, including positioning, tone of voice, content pillars, visual direction, and channel strategy.
  • Develop and execute the organic growth strategy, with a focus on reach, engagement, follower growth, and long-term audience development.
  • Create viral campaign concepts, social-first stories, and repeatable content formats that establish a distinctive and recognizable online personality.
  • Manage the full content lifecycle, including research, ideation, scripting, content calendars, production coordination, approvals, publishing, and optimization.
  • Use platform analytics, audience insights, watch time, retention, and engagement data to guide creative decisions and improve performance.
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement and coordinate with the founder and creative partners.

Requirements

  • Proven experience launching and organically growing Instagram and TikTok accounts from an early or zero-follower stage.
  • A strong portfolio of high-performing, viral, or culturally relevant social content supported by measurable growth results.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, audience behavior, retention, discoverability, engagement, and organic growth mechanics.
  • Strong creative strategy and social-first storytelling skills, with the ability to turn a personality into compelling and repeatable content.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media end to end, from strategy and content development through production, publishing, analytics, and community management.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with the founder and creative production partners.
  • Able to work PST hours.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with creator-led brands, founders, entertainment properties, personality-driven accounts, legal brands, or character-led content is advantageous but not required.
