Job description

Our client, a growing personal care and nutraceutical manufacturer in Pomona, CA area is seeking a QA Inspector to join their team! We are looking for talented & hardworking individuals to join this dynamic organization.
In order to be successful in this position, our ideal candidate will possess the following skill sets:
1. Ability to multi-task and inspect multiple production lines
2. Can thrive in a fast paced environment & learn/adapt quickly!
3. Detail oriented
Contract length: 1 year contract-to-hire
Location: Ontario, CA
Shift: 2nd shift, 2-10pm OR 3rd shift 10pm- 6am, with OT and Saturdays on occasion
Pay rate range: $20-25/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough visual and functional inspections of personal care products, including creams, lotions, shampoos, and other related items, to identify defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defect classification, quantities, and any other relevant data.
  • Ensure that all personal care products comply with industry regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, and work towards continuous improvement in meeting these requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent defects and non-conformities.
  • Communicate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities, and report to the Quality Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a QC Inspector in a GMP regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or deviations in product quality.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in process improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Good computer skills for recording and reporting inspection data.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized inspection area.
