Summary: An environmental and geotechnical engineering firm is looking to hire a Construction Inspector in West Palm Beach. The company focuses on private sector development, including projects such as big box retail, restaurants, convenience stores, and strip malls. This role is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the geotechnical engineering and inspections field. Responsibilities: * Conduct construction phase testing and inspection of various components (foundations, earthwork, soil compaction, concrete, and reinforcing steel) * Utilize Nuclear Density Gauge for soil testing * Utilize Slump Cones for concrete * Communicate inspection findings and testing results with Project Manager"s and Subcontractor"s * Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis * Preparation of field data and technical reports * Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections Qualifications: * 1+ year of experience in Construction Inspection * Experience performing geotechnical and/or environmental field investigations * ACI Certification and/or Troxler Certification preferred * ICC Certification a plus
