Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly detail-driven, data-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to support a fast-paced sales team of 25+ designers in the home services space.

This role is the backbone of our sales organization—responsible for tracking performance, enforcing process discipline, and driving accountability through Salesforce.

If you’ve worked in home improvement, in-home sales, or a service-based business using Salesforce, you’ll have a major advantage.

What You’ll Own

Salesforce Performance Tracking (Daily)

  • Track leads, contacts, and opportunities across the pipeline
  • Monitor appointments set, completed, and converted
  • Report on close rates, revenue, and average ticket
You will own visibility inside Salesforce

Dashboards, Reports & Scorecards

  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards
  • Create daily/weekly performance scorecards by designer
  • Track monthly targets vs actual performance
Leadership relies on your data to make decisions

Lead Flow & Speed-to-Lead Monitoring

  • Ensure new leads are assigned and contacted quickly
  • Monitor response times and follow-up activity
  • Identify gaps in pipeline movement
Speed and follow-up directly impact revenue

Pipeline & Conversion Analysis

  • Identify bottlenecks (low appointments, aging opportunities, low close rates)
  • Flag underperforming designers or missed opportunities
You catch problems before they cost money

Sales Team & Leadership Support

  • Prepare reports for weekly sales meetings
  • Support Sales Managers with clean, actionable data
  • Help drive accountability across the team
You make the sales team sharper and more effective

CRM Discipline & Process Enforcement

  • Ensure Salesforce is consistently and accurately updated
  • Standardize how designers manage opportunities
  • Clean up bad data and enforce process compliance
    No shortcuts—data integrity matters here

What Success Looks Like
  • Real-time visibility into every designer’s performance
  • Faster lead response times and improved follow-up
  • Higher conversion rates without increasing lead volume
  • Clean, reliable Salesforce data
  • A culture of accountability across the sales team

The Role (Important Distinction)
  • Sales Manager = Coach & Leader
  • This Role = Tracker, Enforcer, Analyst (inside Salesforce)

You are not selling—you are making sure the team performs.

Required Experience (This Matters)
  • Experience working in Salesforce (reports, dashboards, pipeline tracking)
  • Background in home services, home improvement, or in-home sales (highly preferred)
  • Experience supporting a sales team with lead flow + appointment-based selling

Core Skills
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, reporting)
  • High attention to detail and process discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and follow-up

Who Will Succeed Here
  • Comfortable holding a sales team accountable
  • Obsessed with clean data and accurate reporting
  • Proactive—doesn’t wait to be told what’s wrong
  • Understands how leads turn into revenue in a service business

Who Will NOT Be a Fit
  • Looking for a passive admin role
  • Avoids data, metrics, or accountability
  • No experience with CRM systems (especially Salesforce)
