Inside Sales Representative

Dilmar Oil Company is a family-owned business operating since 1932 as a petroleum and lubricant distributor. Dilmar distributes various lubricants, oils, greases, and other petroleum products as well as fluid reclamation services. Continues to be one of the largest Lubricant Distributors in the Southeast.
Inside Sales Representatives are a very important part of the Dilmar team. They play major roles in building our customer base while meeting revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls and or contacts per day, working with external sales representative team members, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales, while also spreading the line with the existing customer base.
Responsibilities:
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Understand customer needs and requirements
• Route qualifying opportunities to appropriate sales team members for further development and closure
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Work with other outside sales team members to build pipelines and close deals
• Fill orders by transferring orders to operations for processing, communicate expected deliver date and communicate inventory needs to Plant Managers
• Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients using Excel etc.
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
• Set and meet sales goals set by leadership
Requirements:
• Proven Inside Sales experience
• 3 to 5 years of Inside Sales experience
• Track record of over-achieving quotas
• Strong phone presence and experience making dozens of calls per day
• Proficient with presentation tools
• Experience working with Sales Teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Closing skills
• Technical understanding
