How does an Inside Sales Recruiter typically collaborate with hiring managers and sales leaders during the recruitment process?

Inside Sales Recruiters work closely with hiring managers and sales leaders to understand the specific talent needs and goals of the sales department. They participate in regular meetings to discuss open positions, candidate profiles, and feedback on applicants. Recruiters also help coordinate interview schedules and ensure that candidate assessments align with the team's expectations. This collaborative approach helps streamline the hiring process and ensures that the best-fit candidates are selected for inside sales roles.

Can you make $500,000 a year in sales?

Inside sales roles can potentially reach high earnings, especially with commissions and bonuses, but making $500,000 annually is uncommon and typically requires extensive experience, a high-value client base, and strong sales skills. Most inside sales positions have lower base salaries with performance-based incentives that vary widely by industry and company. Achieving such a high income usually involves seniority, a large sales quota, or working in lucrative sectors like technology or enterprise sales.

What jobs make $3,000 a day?

Inside Sales Recruiters typically do not earn $3,000 a day; such high daily earnings are more common in roles like high-level sales executives, investment bankers, or specialized consultants who earn large commissions or bonuses. These positions often require extensive experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of high performance. Most jobs with daily earnings of this level involve commission-based pay structures and significant responsibility.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Inside Sales Recruiter, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Inside Sales Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of sales processes, talent acquisition strategies, and experience with recruitment or CRM software, typically supported by a bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, and sales enablement platforms is highly valuable. Exceptional interpersonal skills, persuasive communication, and resilience help you build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers. These skills and qualities enable recruiters to effectively identify, attract, and place top sales talent in a competitive market.

Job description

Are you a high-performing, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on the phone and wants a clear, proven path into Outside Regional Sales?
LaSalle Network has partnered with one of the fastest-growing intermodal equipment providers in North America, backed by a major private equity firm specializing in industrial infrastructure. With a massive fleet expansion underway poised to nearly double in size over the next 18 to 24 months, they are scaling fast.
They are looking for an ambitious Inside Sales Representative to join their tight-knit, high-performing team. This is a true launchpad seat: their current Inside Sales Manager started in this exact role. If you are a go-getter who loves a collaborative culture and wants to manage a major U.S. territory, this is your next move.
What You'll Do (Essential Functions)
  • Own Your Territory: Drive long-term leasing and daily rental growth within a defined, high-volume U.S. market, targeting small to mid-sized trucking and motor carrier customers.
  • Hit the Phones: Manage a pipeline by making a minimum of 40 outbound calls per day to prospective and active accounts.
  • Partner Strategically: Work in lockstep with an Outside Regional Sales Manager to collaborate on territory strategy, customer coverage, and big-deal advancement.
  • Close Deals: Secure long-term leases (ranging from 1 to 20+ units) and reactivate dormant accounts to hit quarterly growth targets.
  • Collaborate: Support a small team-centric environment, stepping in to help cover teammates' books of business when needed.
  • Manage CRM: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client pipelines within Microsoft Dynamics.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 1+ years of inside sales experience (comfort and confidence picking up the phone is non-negotiable).
  • Industry Background (Preferred but not required): Experience in transportation, logistics, drayage, trucking, recruiting, mortgage sales, or any phone-heavy B2B environment.
  • The Mindset: A self-starter who doesn't need to be micromanaged, pushes past minimum KPIs, and values being a supportive team player.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with any CRM platform (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass standard background/drug checks.

Details:
  • Location: Oak Brook, IL
  • Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 base salary; first year on target earnings typically range from $75,000-$90,000
  • Benefits: Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and visions insurance available

If you are a high achiever who wants to control your income and build a long-term corporate sales career, submit your resume today!
