Location: Newport News, VA
Wages:
Up to $37.50/Hr.
Per Diem $120.00 offered if eligible
Experience
Five (5) years minimum experience.
Job Description
Inside Machinists operate various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc.
Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct.
The machinists perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work pieces are in accordance with drawing specifications.
Basic QualificationsCandidates must be able to work at extreme heights or small confined spaces. Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to work assigned shift as production needs. Must be able to pass Work Keys testing requirements and Physical Agility Test.
CNC experience preferred. High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Must be able to work any shift and overtime, if required. Must be flexible
Must successfully pass a background & hair follicle drug test
