High Speed Insert Operator – Multiple Shifts Available

Location:
El Dorado Hills
Pay:
Day Shift$18.75/hr + automatic overtime at $28.13/hr (3.5 hrs OT per full shift)
Night Shift-$19.25/hr + automatic overtime at $28.88/hr (3.5 hrs OT per full shift)
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, paid weekly (every Friday)
*Background Screen and Drug Test (Marijuana not included) Required

Shift Options:

  • EWD: Sun–Tue + alternating Wed- 6:00am–6:00pm
  • LWD: Wed–Fri + alternating Sat- 6:00am–6:00pm
  • EWN: Sun-Wed + alternating Sat- 6:00pm-6:00am
  • LWN: Wed-Fri + alternating Sat- 6:00pm-6:00am
  • Additional X Team shifts may be scheduled with notice.

About the Role

As a High-Speed Insert Operator, you will set up, operate, and monitor high speed inserting equipment used to assemble and process printed client materials. This role is hands on and fast paced, ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with production or manufacturing equipment.

You will ensure accurate assembly of printed materials, monitor output quality, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain safe, efficient operation of your machines. Operators may also assist in preparing mail for USPS acceptance.


What You’ll Do
  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic high speed inserting equipment.
  • Read and interpret production orders to complete jobs accurately.
  • Assemble printed materials—cutting, folding, bursting, binding, labeling, etc.
  • Monitor equipment performance and conduct basic troubleshooting.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and authorized minor repairs.
  • Ensure output meets quality standards, including color accuracy.
  • Support different job sizes and complexity levels as required.
  • Work safely and efficiently in a high-volume production environment.
