Syngenta's Marketing Team is seeking a Brand Marketing Intern in Lisle, IL.
As part of Syngenta's Emerging Talent Program, you will gain hands-on experience, exposure to day-to-day business operations, and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.
Accountabilities:
  • Implement brand and product objectives.
  • Provide market intelligence and territory opportunity information; maintain CRM data as part of the process.
  • Advise the sales team and channel partners on the presentation of products and promotional materials.
  • Manage simple customer relationships, regardless of direct or indirect channel.
  • Identify and analyze customer needs for the sales management and marketing organization.
  • Develop basic product knowledge.
  • Receive direction and assistance from Marketing, Brand, and Communication leaders.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline, with a graduation date on or after December 2027.
  • Intern must be entering their junior or senior year after completion of the internship term.
  • Requires developed specialized skills, or a breadth of skills, through job-related training, on-the-job experience, and coursework.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.

Desired Qualifications:
  • A demonstrated passion for agriculture and food production is a definite asset.
  • Knowledge of marketing processes, data insights and analytics, agronomics, general cropping practices, agricultural technology and trends, and requirements for pest control.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comprising strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, be self-directed, and work as part of a team.
  • All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S., with a work location in Lisle, IL, or remotely for the right candidate.

Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
