Job description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for Custodians for the 2026-2027 school year for our campuses located in Florence, AZ. Candidates must be able to obtain a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean windows and mirrors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
  • Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestations.
  • Set up, arrange and remove tables, chairs, ladders and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
  • Assist with the school’s energy conservation practices by turning off unneeded lights and equipment; identifying unoccupied areas of the building where heating and cooling can be shut down; and reporting leaking faucets, pipes and sprinklers.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
