Family Medicine Physician Job Opening at Bon Secours Colonial Heights Family Medicine Responsibilities Provide routine primary care for patients of all ages, with flexibility to focus on areas of interest, including in-office procedures and chronic care management. Perform routine exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans, including A1C, PT/INR, U/A, Flu, Strep, COVID, Glucose testing, and Spirometry. See 1 patient every 15-30 minutes, ensuring quality, thorough care while maintaining efficiency.

Manage a minimal call schedule of one day per week and rotating weekends. Call is phone-based and is only for providers within our location, making it low-stress and minimal responsibility. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team, including a 1:1 provider to CMA/LPN ratio, ensuring excellent support for each patient visit.

Physician will also provide oversight of MRI & CT with contrast procedures at adjacent Imaging department. Additional compensation will be included. Perform in-office procedures: joint injections, suture placement and cryotherapy.

Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Valid state medical license (or eligible for licensure). Comfortable with basic point-of-care testing, including A1C, PT/INR, U/A, Flu, Strep, COVID, and Spirometry.
