Registered Nurse | Hospice Inpatient | 2nd shift | Full-time or Part-time
Faith Hospice has a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse who feels the call to serve those patients at the end of life and the opportunity to work as an essential part of an inpatient hospice care team who all share this rare and special gift. Our Trillium Woods Inpatient Hospice facility in Byron Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join our care team.

At Faith Hospice, we utilize highly skilled nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, home health aides and volunteers to serve our patients, from medical and emotional care to pain management and bereavement counseling.
Responsibilities
  • Assesses patient conditions and comfort, communicating changes to physicians, family, and caregivers
  • Implements and revises individualized care plans, managing discomfort and providing symptom relief
  • Administers medication, performs treatments, and coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Group for care planning
  • Delivers specialized hospice training to staff, family, and caregivers for optimal patient care
  • Educates patients and families on disease processes and provides emotional support
  • Maintains communication with physicians and other disciplines
  • Builds trusting relationships and completes required documentation promptly

Schedule
  • 2nd shift | 2:30pm - 10:00pm
  • Schedule repeats every 2 weeks:
    • 24 hours per week (part-time)
    • 32 hours per week (full-time)
  • Eligible for pick-up pay, if you choose to pick up extra shifts
    • an additional $4/hour if you pick up on a weekday
    • an additional $6/hour if you pick up on a weekend
    • an additional $8/hour if you pick up on a holiday

Education and Experience
  • RN licensure in Michigan
