About IHI
At Innovative Hematology, Inc. (IHI), we offer a future where people with rare blood disorders flourish. Our experts provide the highest quality comprehensive services and holistic care to patients with bleeding, clotting and other hematologic disorders, and to their families.
What You Will Do
As a Clinic Nurse at the IHI, you will be responsible for the nursing care of patients in the clinic setting. This role will work with pediatric patients of the IHI. Bleeding disorder experience is not required for this role as onsite training will be provided.
The Opportunity
  • Patient check in duties, including but not limited to: vital signs, medication reconciliation, allergy updates, and assessment/reason for visit
  • Follows the plan of care for surgery patients
  • Draws laboratory studies as ordered
  • Medication and vaccine administration
  • Performs peripheral IV insertion and manages IV therapy according to established protocols
  • Administers infusions, including factor and other IV medications in accordance with individualized patient care plans
  • Accesses implanted ports for blood draws, medication administration, and infusions
  • Coordinates and works directly with triage nursing to ensure comprehensive continuity of patient care
Requirements
  • Valid RN license in the state of Indiana
  • Valid Indiana Driver's license and automobile insurance
  • All IHI employees are expected to enable multi-factor authentication via their personal smart phone/smart device in order to access IHI systems as a requirement of the role.
