RCS Corporation is a full-service event production company and a leading provider of Audio, Video, Lighting, Staging and Roof Systems. For over 30 years we've provided promoters and event planners turn-key solutions and innovative production design for any size event, indoor or outdoor. Our markets include corporate, political and special events; concerts, entertainment, festivals and the exhibit industry; as well as permanent installations for churches, theaters, event centers and entertainment venues. Our offices are located in Florida and Ohio and provide event production nationwide. www.rcseventproduction.com

We are seeking a Sales Professional to generate new business and to build on an established client base. A client book will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to cold call and prospect new customers
  • Present and effectively communicate the benefits of our services to prospective customers
  • Work with customers to plan and coordinate event production details
  • Obtain accurate information required to create quotes. proposals and show budgets
  • Work with our operations, technical and accounting departments, as well as outside vendors to facilitate orders
  • Enter and manage all customer data through our in-house tracking system
  • Manage customer relationships ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction pre and post event
  • Achieve monthly sales goals

Skills & Requirements:

  • Possess knowledge and experience in the different aspects of event production which include a working knowledge of audio, video, lighting and staging systems
  • Two or more years of direct sales experience
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow up
  • Flexibility to work extended workdays, weekends and holidays as needed, to attend your customer’s events
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record in good standing. Reliable transportation, Internet service, and one of the following: Laptop or PC, MAC, or Smart Device
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment references

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission opportunity and has enormous potential for the right individual.
