Director of Nursing (DON)

Full Time | $100,000-$115,000 Annually

Aristos Rehabilitation and Nursing Center | Cleveland, OH

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team at Aristos Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a premier healthcare facility in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of our leadership team, the DON will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

About the Role:

As the Director of Nursing, you will be accountable for:

  • Leadership: Providing strategic guidance to the nursing team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment, and fostering open communication among staff members.

  • Quality Care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, meeting regulatory requirements, and adhering to established policies and procedures.

  • Clinical Excellence: Monitoring and evaluating the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes.

  • Staff Development: Developing, implementing, and evaluating staff training programs, providing coaching and mentorship to nursing staff, and ensuring ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements nursing policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Oversees the management of nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.

  • Facilitates effective communication among nursing staff, medical staff, and other departments.

  • Monitors and reports on nursing quality metrics, including patient satisfaction, outcomes, and safety.

  • Participates in budget planning and management, ensuring compliance with financial objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ Year as Director of Nursing

  • Certifications/Licenses: Current Active Ohio RN License

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practices
