Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate with two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring alignment with their treatment objectives.
• Manage a dedicated caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused, quality care tailored to individual recovery plans.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that integrate various evidence-based treatment modalities aimed at improving range of motion, mobility, and overall functional ability.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and advanced exercise protocols to optimize treatment outcomes while promoting patient independence.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, adjusting care plans based on patient feedback and functional assessment results.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, motivating them to actively participate in their recovery and comply with treatment recommendations.
• Document all patient care services meticulously in compliance with legal requirements and organizational standards, utilizing WebPT EMR Software for efficient record-keeping.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient’s health and recovery.
• Advise patients on fitness and wellness routines tailored specifically to their recovery needs, aiming to promote lifelong health habits.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthopedic therapy and integrate new skills and techniques into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Innovative Movement Rehab & Wellness Center, we primarily serve patients with private medical insurance who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele includes athletes seeking to regain performance, individuals recovering from joint replacements, and those wishing to improve their mobility and functional independence. Your role is critical in helping these patients navigate their recovery journey, providing compassionate, individualized care that addresses their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist, with a proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record without disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and orthopedic treatment techniques.
• Capability to design, implement, and adapt exercise protocols suitable for various patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically using WebPT software for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of current rehabilitation and wellness trends, especially in sports medicine.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with patients and their families.
• A commitment to continuous professional development through education and training.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
