Job description

About Us
The Just One Project's mission is to increase access to food, resources, and supportive services to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. The Just One Project has a culture of attracting the most passionate and talented people to represent The Just One Project by reinforcing strong values, work-life balance, and diversity. We know that our company culture ultimately affects client experience. Every program is designed with our clients in mind; we are "client-centric."
Everything we do is guided by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion, and by our Gold Standard of service. We believe every person we serve deserves to be treated with the same care, dignity, and respect as you'd want for your own family.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just agree with these values, but brings them to life every day - whether they're interacting with a client, making a grocery delivery, entering important information, or lending a hand to their teammates.
About the Role
As the Senior Nutrition Wellness (SNW) Program Coordinator, you'll play a hands-on role in helping ensure groceries and essential resources reach the clients who depend on our program.
This isn't a position where you'll spend every day behind a desk! You'll balance client and administrative support with time on the road, making grocery deliveries throughout the community and helping keep the day-to-day operations of the SNW program running smoothly.
You'll safely operate a U-Haul-sized vehicle to make deliveries, assist with loading and unloading, maintain accurate client information in Salesforce, support annual client recertifications, and help make sure the vehicles and equipment you use are ready for the job.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable staying active throughout the day. Just as importantly, we're looking for someone with a warm and vibrant personality who understands that delivering groceries isn't simply about getting from Point A to Point B - it's an opportunity to serve our clients with dignity, compassion, and respect.
If you enjoy a role that keeps you moving, gives you variety in your day, and allows you to directly see the impact of your work in the community, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
What You'll Do
  • Safely transport and deliver groceries and other items to clients throughout the community using a U-Haul-sized vehicle
  • Provide friendly, respectful, and client-centered service during every delivery and interaction
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and obtain forklift certification
  • Enter and maintain accurate client demographic information in Salesforce
  • Assist with annual client recertifications and ensure information remains accurate and up to date
  • Use Microsoft Word and Excel to support program operations and administrative tasks
  • Monitor program vehicles for signs of wear and tear and communicate maintenance needs to the Fleet Manager
  • Help keep program records, deliveries, and day-to-day tasks organized and on schedule
  • Collaborate with teammates and other departments to support smooth program operations
  • Represent The Just One Project at organization-wide events, including participation in six mandatory Pop Up & Give events each year
  • Pitch in wherever needed with additional program and organizational responsibilities

What You Bring
  • 2+ years of office administration experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A dependable and punctual approach to your work
  • The ability to balance administrative responsibilities with active, hands-on work
  • Comfort using technology and entering information accurately into systems such as Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid, unrestricted Nevada driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
  • Willingness and ability to obtain forklift certification
  • A valid Food Handler Safety Training Card or willingness to obtain one
  • The ability to adapt, problem-solve, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to providing every client with compassion, dignity, and respect
  • A commitment to teamwork and living out our core values of Respect, Integrity, Innovation, and Compassion

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of nonprofit experience

What the Work Looks Like
This is an active role that combines administrative responsibilities with driving, deliveries, and physical work. Team members in this position should be comfortable:
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching as needed
  • Regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and working with material-handling equipment
  • Working in a fast-paced and active environment
  • Driving and working in a variety of controlled and uncontrolled weather conditions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
Part-Time Benefits
As a part-time team member, you'll receive:
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays

Don't meet every requirement? Let us decide!
Research shows that individuals from underrepresented groups often choose not to apply for jobs unless they meet every listed qualification - even though they are frequently well-qualified.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check, drug screening, motor vehicle report, employment verification, and reference checks, as permitted by law.
