Inland Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) to join our remote outpatient team, specializing in addiction therapy. This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while you engage in meaningful work from the comfort of your own home. Our outpatient office setting is equipped with secure digital platforms to facilitate virtual counseling sessions, ensuring that you can provide essential support to clients in need while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Conduct immediate crisis assessments for individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
• Provide timely and effective counseling services, ensuring individuals in distress receive the support they require.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders to safeguard client welfare during critical situations.
• Implement personalized crisis intervention plans while employing evidence-based strategies to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Facilitate follow-up care and provide referrals to additional support services to promote ongoing recovery.
• Participate in continual professional development activities to enhance crisis counseling skills and methodologies.

This role focuses on individuals experiencing emotional crises due to addiction, trauma, or severe mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often seek immediate support to navigate their battles with substance misuse. As a counselor, you will forge therapeutic relationships built on trust and empathy, aiming to guide clients toward recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Valid Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• At least three years of recent experience in crisis intervention and mental health counseling, with a focus on addiction treatment.
• Additional training or specialization in trauma-informed care and crisis counseling best practices.
• Proficiency in applying evidence-based intervention techniques and de-escalation methods, particularly in high-stress scenarios.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with clients in crisis.
• Cultural competence and an empathetic approach to diverse client populations.
• Ability to conduct swift assessments and develop individualized intervention strategies.
• Solid understanding of ethical and legal standards relevant to mental health counseling.

• Experience working specifically with clients at various stages of addiction recovery.
• Familiarity with digital therapeutic tools and telehealth platforms in delivering mental health services.
• Active participation in training or workshops on advanced crisis management techniques.
• Track record of engaging effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and community resources.
