C shift :Schedule: Monday through Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am, Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am

MMI is looking for a reliable Process Technician for our facility in Warren, C SHIFT who is ready to play a key role in supporting our production team by ensuring our molding processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with Shift Supervisors, Operators, and Engineers to set up and optimize molds, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain tooling. Your expertise will directly impact product quality, efficiency, and the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and enforce all safety, health, and quality standards.

  • Set up, optimize, and change over molds and related equipment.

  • Monitor and adjust molding processes to ensure consistent product quality.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and scrap.

  • Collaborate with Supervisors and Operators to train and develop team skills.

  • Document process changes and communicate updates to Engineering.

  • Support efficiency goals by reducing setup time and improving cycle times.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing.

    • Skilled in processing, setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding equipment.
    • Experienced in identifying and resolving molding defects, machine issues, and process variations to ensure consistent product quality and efficient production.
  • 3 or more years "hands-on" processing and troubleshooting injection molding equipment.

  • Mold design best practices experience is required.

  • Large part injection molding is ideal experience

  • Light maintenance experience is needed.

  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.

  • Computer usage and typing skills are essential.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 15 feet in height, and walk and stand for periods ranging from 6 to 12 or more hours per day.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production, quality, and safety requirements.

Work Environment & Expectations:
  • Working in office and manufacturing environment

  • Standing in excess of 7.5 hours per day in an environment that may be hot, noisy, and dirty.

  • Serve as a technical expert and mentor to Operators and team members.
