Title: Molding Process Technician
Location: Libertyville, IL
Shift: M-F 8 am to 5 pm

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding / mold setup
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic & electric injection molding machines
  • RJG Molding experience (mandatory)
  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Certifications preferred: RJG Master Molder I/II, Forklift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment for production
  • Adjust machine parameters to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Startup/shut down machines as per SOPs
  • Troubleshoot molding defects (flash, short shots, warping)
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain process and quality documentation
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Follow safety standards and regulatory compliance (ISO, FDA, GMP)
