Plasman is seeking an experienced Process Technician – Molding to support production operations on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for mold setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and maintaining production efficiency while ensuring all quality standards are met.

This position works closely with production, maintenance, and technical teams to support a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mold setup and ensure proper configuration

  • Monitor and adjust molding processes to maintain quality and productivity

  • Troubleshoot process issues to support production stability

  • Support training and development of team members

  • Operate overhead crane safely

  • Set up and maintain robotic end-of-arm tooling

  • Complete First-Off / Last-Off inspections and maintain SPC requirements

  • Support production runs and assist with process tryouts

  • Identify process or equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of mold setup experience

  • Minimum 2 years of process troubleshooting experience

  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment
  • Manufacturing/production environment

  • Requires standing, lifting, and working with industrial equipment
