Job Title: Injection Mold Operator

Job Description

Join a fast-paced automotive injection molding team as an entry-level Injection Mold Operator. In this role, you operate fully automated molding machines by loading raw materials and unloading finished plastic automotive parts. You focus on keeping production running smoothly, following clear instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. No prior injection molding experience is required; the primary requirements are reliability, consistent attendance, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load raw materials or inserts into injection molding machines according to established procedures.
• Unload completed plastic automotive components from the machines and place them in designated areas.
• Maintain production pace by keeping up with machine cycle times to support steady output.
• Perform basic sorting to separate finished parts from scrap metal or plastic runner systems.
• Organize materials and parts around the machine to support efficient workflow.
• Handle materials safely, including loading, unloading, and moving items as needed.
• Assist with basic assembly, picking, and general labor tasks related to the molding process.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to support safety and productivity.
• Follow repetitive, straightforward instructions accurately in a factory environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and report any issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Work a few hours of overtime on some weeks when production demands require it.

Essential Skills

• Ability to reliably load raw materials and unload finished automotive parts from molding machines.
• Capability to stand for long periods, bend, and repetitively lift light-to-medium loads.
• Strong reliability and attendance, with a consistent and dependable way to get to work every day.
• Ability to follow basic, repetitive instructions safely in a factory environment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment and keeping up with machine cycle times.
• Basic material handling skills, including loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
• Attention to detail for sorting finished parts from scrap and runner systems.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, production, or general labor environments is helpful but not required.
• Experience in mechanical or manufacturing settings is an asset.
• Familiarity with material handling, sorting, picking, and organizing tasks.
• Comfort with basic assembly work in a warehouse or factory setting.
• Willingness to learn injection molding processes and operate automated machinery.
• Ability to work occasional overtime when needed.

Work Environment

This role is based in a brand-new, climate-controlled warehouse that houses fully automated injection molding machines. You work primarily on the 1st shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional overtime as production requires. The environment is fast-paced and focused on consistent output, with clear, repetitive tasks and established safety procedures. You spend most of your day on your feet, moving materials, loading and unloading parts, and maintaining a clean, organized area around your assigned machine. Dress is typical for a factory setting, emphasizing safety and practicality.

This is a Permanent position based out of Easley, SC.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
