Tooling Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) – Direct Hire
Do you have experience working in Plastic Injection Molding maintaining molds? A plastics company in Goodyear is looking for skilled Tooling Technicians to work in the Mold department repairing plastic molds. This company manufactures foldable crates and city trash cans and offers a stable, long-term career path. Tooling Technician Job Duties:
  • Perform preventative mold maintenance and repair activities 
  • Conduct mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs 
  • Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics 
  • Operate tool room machinery and equipment 
In this tooling position, you will work with injection molds and related equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions and production efficiency.
 
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Must be available for on-call rotation (nights and weekends once per month)
 
Pay:
$28 – $40 per hour (DOE)
 
Tooling Technician Job Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience servicing and repairing tooling for plastic injection molds 
  • Basic math skills 
  • Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics 
  • Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools 
  • Basic electrical skills 
  • Basic computer knowledge
