Job description

Machine Operator – Plastic Injection Molding
  • Location: 100% On-site at Garden Grove, CA 92841
  • Contract: W2 under staffing supplier; with a 3-month duration (Temp to hire)
  • Work Schedule: Mon - Fri / 2nd shift: 1 pm to 9:30 pm (OT may be requested / weekends and holidays may be requested too).
  • Pay rate: $22 per hour (+1.00$ shift diff.)

Key Responsibilities
• Production: Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce quality parts based on blueprints and work orders.
• Quality Control: Monitor process temperatures and injection pressures; detect and report any non-conformances.
• Precision Measurement: Verify machine settings by measuring first-run parts and samples using micrometers, Vernier calipers, and optical comparators.
• Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance according to manufacturer instructions.
• Documentation: Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
Qualifications
• Experience:  At least 1+ yoe in related positions in manufacturing settings.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Availability: Must be able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Adaptability: Willingness to perform "other duties assigned" to support the team.
