Job Description:
The Transformation Initiative Lead is a member of Crowe's Transformation Office and will have the opportunity to work across the firm on its highest-priority revenue growth, internal efficiency and productivity, technology, operating, and organizational initiatives. This person will partner with initiative owners and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, set ambitious but achievable goals, and turn ideas into measurable and lasting results. The role offers broad exposure to Crowe's businesses and leaders and is designed for a practical player-coach who enjoys solving hard problems, helping teams succeed, and building capabilities that strengthen Crowe for the long term.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Identify opportunities and shape targets: Work with business leaders to identify high-value opportunities, estimate their financial and operational impact, and agree on clear targets, success measures, scope, and ownership.
- Build practical execution plans: Convert strategic objectives into clear workplans with milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs), resources, dependencies, risks, decisions, and adoption requirements that initiative owners and sponsors can use.
- Drive results through implementation: Maintain momentum through implementation, adoption, and measured impact. Help teams deliver the agreed financial, operational, customer, and people outcomes with pace, quality, and follow-through.
- Create early momentum and learning: Apply 80/20 thinking to identify the actions, decisions, constraints, and risks that drive most of the result. Launch practical pilots, capture quick wins, learn from early results, and scale the strongest approaches.
- Connect work across Crowe: Understand how each initiative affects other workstreams, resources, business priorities, and long-term enterprise value. Help leaders sequence work, manage interdependencies, and bring the best of OneCrowe to each initiative.
- Anticipate risks and help teams solve them: Maintain a forward view of risks, blockers, dependencies, and decisions that could affect timing, value, or adoption. Raise issues early and work constructively with leaders to resolve them.
- Work alongside initiative leaders: Act as a player-coach when an initiative needs more capacity, analysis, structure, or problem solving. Roll up your sleeves to build analyses, design processes, prepare decisions, resolve data issues, coordinate pilots, or drive defined workstreams.
- Bring together the right resources: Identify capability and capacity needs and help secure the people, technology, funding, and expertise required. Coordinate consultants, vendors, and other external resources through clear scopes, deliverables, economics, integration, and knowledge transfer.
- Create clarity, accountability, and momentum: Run an effective execution cadence and provide concise updates on progress, value, risks, decisions, and required actions. Keep meetings focused on solving problems, making decisions, and advancing the work.
- Build lasting capabilities and ownership: Help business leaders develop the processes, capabilities, tools, ownership, and handoffs required to sustain results. Share credit, elevate others, and leave initiative teams better equipped to succeed over time.
- Professional experience and performance: 5+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in strategy consulting at a leading firm. Demonstrable strong track record of performance, increasing responsibility, and translating strategic priorities into measurable results.
- Education and relevant business exposure: Bachelor's degree required with a preference in business, finance, accounting, a STEM field, or another analytically rigorous discipline. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is valuable but not required. Experience in professional services, financial services, or another complex, relationship-led business is helpful, including exposure to revenue growth and internal efficiency or productivity initiatives.
- Initiative leadership: Experience leading workstreams through diagnosis, planning, implementation, adoption, and value realization while coordinating multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Analytical and financial rigor: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, including opportunity sizing, business-case development, KPI design, scenario analysis, and translation of analysis into practical decisions and actions.
- Hands-on delivery: Specific examples of personally building analyses, solving operating problems, running pilots, improving processes, and helping teams move from recommendations to sustained results.
- Executive and frontline influence: Ability to build trust and credibility across the organizational hierarchy, communicate difficult messages clearly, and influence action without relying on formal authority.
- Resource and external-partner management: Experience defining resource needs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing consultants or vendors against clear deliverables, economics, and outcomes.
- Clear communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into concise priorities, decisions, tradeoffs, and next steps for business and executive audiences.
- Practical and entrepreneurial, with a strong focus on workable solutions and measurable outcomes
- Hands-on player-coach who rolls up their sleeves and helps initiative teams do the real work required to make progress
- High-judgment 80/20 thinker who identifies the critical few issues that drive most of the value
- AI-proficient and curious; uses AI heavily in both personal and professional settings and looks for practical ways to improve analysis, productivity, and execution
- Candid and constructive; raises difficult issues early and helps teams work through them productively
- Trusted influencer who builds open relationships with frontline teams, business leaders, executives, and external partners
- Team-oriented partner who shares credit, elevates others, and cares about helping colleagues and the business succeed
- OneCrowe collaborator who works across organizational boundaries and demonstrates Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship
- Energized by broad exposure, meaningful challenges, and the opportunity to create long-term value for Crowe and its clients
