Job description

Phiston Technologies is hiring a Warehouse Technician for 2nd shift (10:00 AM – 7:00 PM) at our Virginia facility. This role keeps our data destruction operation running smoothly by handling in-warehouse shredding and preparing/resetting equipment as field crews return from client sites — so our mobile teams can head home at the end of a job instead of coming back to clean up.

If you're mechanically inclined, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

  • Operate industrial hard drive shredding equipment in the warehouse
  • Receive and process materials from mobile shred trucks returning from client sites
  • Clean, inspect, and reset shredders and trucks for the next day's field deployments
  • Load/unload materials and equipment
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Support generator maintenance and readiness for mobile operations
  • Maintain warehouse organization and inventory
  • Complete daily reports and Certificates of Destruction
  • Follow strict safety and security protocols (NAID AAA standards)

What We're Looking For

  • Valid driver's license
  • Warehouse, industrial, or equipment operation experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Comfortable with physical work (lifting 50+ lbs)
  • Detail-oriented and security-focused
  • Clean background required

Why Work at Phiston?

  • Stable, growing technology company
  • Hands-on technical work with industry-leading equipment
  • Consistent, predictable warehouse-based schedule
  • Competitive pay + benefits
  • Advancement opportunities
